The main difference, besides size, is the junior boot is softer and more easily designed for one person. Have you tried it? You need a very tight fit around the foot and ankle. If you have time trying to get a shoe store and try different pairs to make the size of the installer and launch the brand and model they propose. Spend a few hours in the boots used for them. Do the same with their friends boots.
